With the country going through the third COVID-19 wave, new normal practices have been adopted in government, public and private premises.
These practices also apply to events such as convocation ceremonies where attendants are administered antigen rapid tests (ARTs), with the most recent event being Universiti Teknologi Brunei’s (UTB) convocation ceremony last week.
At UTB’s event, attendants were screened for COVID-19 before being allowed entry into the Plenary Hall of the International Convention Centre.
UTB volunteers at the centre were also responsible for disinfecting the tables and chairs after each use by individuals undergoing testing ART.
