Importance of hygiene highlighted

THE Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Secondary School in Tutong District conducted a briefing on Environmental Hygiene, Food Security and Disease Control recently.

Health Officer Suliana binti Lisa briefed on Environmental Hygiene while Enforcement Officer from the Disease Control Unit Ramli Pawe delivered a talk on disease control.

The briefing was coordinated by RIPAS Secondary School teachers; Health, Safety Security and Environment (HSSE) Mohammad Azrin bin Haji Jafarudin and Hajah Noormala binti Haji Wahab

Held at the school hall, the briefing was attended by students and teachers from Year 7, Year 8, Year 9B, 9C, 9D, 9E, 9F and Year 10E (BTEC).

The event started with the singing of the national anthem followed with a mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Mohd Jossreyn bin Haji Mohsin.

The briefing concluded with a quiz session conducted by the Department of Health Services and prize presentation.

Teachers and students also toured the exhibition showcased by the Department of Health Services.
