Immersing in Korean culture on river cruise

A three-hour river cruise along Brunei River featured the best of Korean cultural experience, from food to traditional wears and activities, on Saturday.

The Korea Night-themed river cruise by Brunei River Cruise departed from Queen Elizabeth Jetty in Kota Batu, and offered passengers a must-have Korean culinary experience, such as teokbokki, kimchi fried rice, Korean spring rolls, japchae and yangnyeom.

Activities during the three-hour river excursion onboard the MV Sentosa while immersing in the spectacular historical sights and landmarks in Brunei’s waterways included Korean traditional hanbok wearing and gimbab demo guided by Korean staff from Freme Travel Agency.

Passengers were also showered by a lucky dip door gift at the end of cruise.
