A total of 13 children from the Children’s Cancer Foundation (YASKA), their family members, staff and volunteers were treated to a sungkai gathering organised by The Emperor’s Court yesterday.
The charitable cause was the fifth Dine & Donate charity sungkai event aimed at raising fund for selected associations.
All proceeds from the sale of Sungkai Dome sets amounting to BND4,833.60 were donated to YASKA. The Emperor’s Court also contributed BND1,000.
Manager of The Emperor’s Court Restaurant Yi BiYi presented the donation to YASKA President Haji Mohd Suffian bin Haji Zainal Abidin. To date, 147 children diagnosed with cancer are registered under YASKA.
