Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar and Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad attended an iftar ceremony at Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam in Kampong Bengkurong.
It was hosted by Dr Murali Rao and spouse Dr Sumaya Rao who were associated with Premier Dental and Orthodontic Centre in Brunei.
At the ceremony, the pair donated BND10,000 to Pusat Ehsan and handed over the mock cheque to Pusat Ehsan’s Executive Trustee Pengiran Datin Hajah Noraini binti Pengiran Dipa Negara Laila Diraja Pengiran Haji Abdul Momin.
The donation was part of their personal contribution for the welfare and well-being of the community in the month of Ramadhan. Senior officials of both ministries, Board of Trustees of Pusat Ehsan, Board of Directors, employees of Premier Dental Group and other invitees were present.
