The Islamic Studies Department and Microsoft Brunei Sdn Bhd yesterday held the first session of the Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) programme for infocommunications technology (ICT) teachers from Arabic and religious schools across the country.
Facilitating on behalf of Microsoft Brunei Sdn Bhd was Nadia binti Kadir, who showed the participants how to use the OneNote Office 365 application in classrooms and for school management.
The MIE is one of the comprehensive programmes under Microsoft Partners in Learning for school leaders and teachers in the areas of Leadership, 21st Century Pedagogy and Design Technology.
The first year of the programme will involve 75 ICT and religious teachers.
