IBTE welcomes 187 fresh faces

A TOTAL of 187 of the Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) January 2019 intake were welcomed in an orientation programme for both Central and Satellite Campuses.

Assistant Director of Technical Education cum Deputy CEO (Development) of IBTE Lim Kian Boon was also in attendance.

The opening ceremony saw the reading of students oath and a presentation to familiarise the newbies with IBTE’s two networks of schools. Talks were also delivered by officers from the Brunei National Road Safety Council and the Information Technology Protective Security Services (ITPSS).

The students are from nine programmes – Diploma in Marine Engineering, HNTec in Electrical Engineering, HNTec in Automobile Engineering Technology, HNTec in Apprenticeship Telecommunication and IT, HNTec Apprenticeship in Professional Cookery and Services and NTec in Culinary Operations, NTec in Rooms Division Operations, NTec in Apprenticeship in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning and NTec Apprenticeship in Automative Technician.
