Setia Motors, the sole distributor of Hyundai vehicles in Brunei Darussalam, unveiled the latest Hyundai Santa Fe and Hyundai i20 (two variants) at The Mall in Gadong.

Setia Motors General Manager James Chin and Sales Manager Fadhillah bin Sulaiman officiated the launch of the Hyundai roadshow.

The Hyundai Santa Fe is a five-passenger midsize SUV that offers a great mix of comfort and convenience to suit everyone’s needs. The new Santa Fe is a bit longer, slightly wider and lower than before, but the wheelbase remains unchanged. Freshly redesigned for 2021, the well-equipped Santa Fe boasts a wide variety of standard and available features. It is also equipped with a bolder looking grill up front with sharp edges staying true to Hyundai new design language of “sensuous sportiness”.

The all-new Santa Fe comes with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder gas engine, which pushes up to 191hp with 182lb of torque with the eight-speed transmission. The high spec now comes with all-wheel drive, while the low spec is two-wheel drive.

Meanwhile, the all-new Hyundai i20 has a totally revamp sporty look compared to its predecessor.

The headlights carry the new design and look similar to the new Verna and the new Elantra. The taillights are new as well, with an LED strip across them.

The vehicle has an all-new platform, and boasts an overall sporty design. The new i20 is also bigger in all dimensions. The 2021 Hyundai i20 comes with two engine options – the 1.4-litre petrol producing 100ps and 13.6kgm of torque, and 1.0-litre turbo petrol producing 120ps and 17.5kgm of torque. It also features a completely new interior design, new infotainment system, cruise control, ambient lighting, updated centre console digital instrument cluster, wireless charging facility, Bose premium audio, automatic climate control system and multifunctional steering wheel.
