The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS), through Community Development Department (JAPEM), yesterday handed over financial assistance from the Government of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam to a family involved in a house collapse in Brunei-Muara District.
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohammad presented the contribution. On June 2, the house belonging to Aisah binti Haji Tengah in Kampong Sungai Kebun collapsed. Her husband sustained a minor injury.
