    Hospital running low on blood reserve, calls for public help

    The Blood Donation Centre of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital is in short supply of blood, said the Ministry of Health (MoH) in a statement yesterday.

    The public is called on to help increase the blood reserve.

    Donors can visit the Blood Donation Centre on working days from 8am to 11.30am and 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

    The Blood Donation Centre of the Department of Laboratory Services, MoH will also hold blood donation campaigns starting tomorrow at Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital in Tutong District from 1.30pm to 3.30pm; the Institute of Brunei Technical Education at Agro-Technology campus in Kampong Wasan from 9am to noon on January 31; and the Language and Literature Bureau Library in Kampong Pandan, Belait District from 9am to noon on February 1.

    Meanwhile, on February 2, there will be a blood donation drive at the additional building of the Ministry of Religious Affairs from 9am to noon, and the Royal Brunei Police Force’s stadium in Gadong from 9am to noon on February 4.

    The public is advised to book a slot through the BloodKad application.
