It is not only the responsibility of the government but it also requires the cooperation and responsibility of various parties to play a part in their respective roles to achieve Brunei Vision 2035, said Permanent Secretary (Vision, Finance and Cabinet) at the Prime Minister’s Office Pengiran Hajah Siti Nirmala binti Pengiran Haji Mohammad. She said this during a Career Day for iSkill programme cohort 1 trainees at the National Service Programme (PKBN) Batu Apoi in Temburong District yesterday.
“As per the feedback from the industry that apart from technical skills, personality traits such as integrity, discipline, resilience and commitment in carrying out tasks are also among the values required when entering the working world,” she added.
The event is aimed to provide a platform for the trainees in marker-fitting, rigging, scaffolding and welding field.
