The Borneo Research Centre (penBorneo) of the Brunei History Centre will organise a two-day Borneo History Talk on November 26 and 28. The talk is the 10th Borneo History Talk conducted by the centre since 2015.
Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Culture) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) Dr Haji Muhammad Hadi bin Muhammad Melayong as the Principal of Brunei History Centre chaired a press conference yesterday to provide more information regarding the talk.
The talk aims to promote the importance of history among the younger generations and expose them to penBorneo’s researches. Seven local and foreign speakers were invited to the talk with three from Brunei, two from Sarawak, one from Sabah and one from Kalimantan. The talk, in hybrid format, will be held at penBorneo from 9am.
