His Majesty holds bilateral meeting with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam held a bilateral meeting with His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre in Bangkok yesterday.

Accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen.

During the meeting, His Majesty and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia discussed matters of mutual interest in strengthening the long-standing bilateral relationship between the two countries.

His Majesty conveyed his congratulations to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince on his appointment as the Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia on September 27.

His Majesty also extended an invitation to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia to visit Brunei Darussalam.

At the same time, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia extended an invitation to His Majesty and the royal family to visit Saudi Arabia to perform the umrah. Diplomatic relations between Brunei Darussalam and Saudi Arabia were established on July 1, 1987, where the two countries have close and friendly relations through cooperation in the field of religious affairs and haj.
