His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office with Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman attended a high-tea reception organised in honour of His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah’s 47th birthday yesterday.
The reception was hosted by the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) at the Banquet Hall of the RBPF Headquarters in Gadong.
Accompanying Their Royal Highnesses were His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Raabi’atul ‘Adawiyyah binti Pengiran Haji Bolkiah as well as Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Commandant of Women Police, and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar, Chief of Adat Istiadat Negara.
Upon arrival, Their Royal Highnesses and members of the royal family were greeted by RBPF Commissioner Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali, RBPF Deputy Commissioner Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Mohd Jefri bin Pengiran Haji Abdul Hamid and their spouses.
His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah consented to sign the royal parchment and pose for a group photo.
His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah cut the birthday cake, accompanied by a birthday song sung by RBPF choir comprising police officers.
His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah then received a pesambah from the RBPF Commissioner.
Before the ceremony concluded, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah was introduced to police inspectorate Squad 1 and 2 who were recently promoted.
Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah and Permanent Secretary (Security, Enforcement and Law) at the Prime Minister’s Office Lieutenant Colonel (Rtd) Pengiran Haji Muhamad Sazali bin Pengiran Haji Yakob were also present.
