The High Commission of Pakistan in Brunei Darussalam hosted a special treat for children under Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam at the centre premises in Kampong Bengkurong yesterday.
Pakistani High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Major General (Rtd) Farhat Abbas Sani was present during the event.
The high commissioner, embassy staff as well as prominent members of the Pakistani community in Brunei Darussalam served chicken briyani to the children.
The high commissioner expressed his delight at including the children in the festivities and noted that without their participation, the celebration would be incomplete.
The event also marked the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Brunei Darussalam. – Lyna Mohamad
