Menglait Secondary School organised an award presentation ceremony to 65 high achievers recently.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and continued with a speech by Principal Haji Huzaimi bin Haji Moksin.
He said the school recorded 48.15 per cent of students scoring at least five ‘O’ Level credits, which is on par with 2019, despite COVID-19 challenges.
Nicole Wong Qi was the recipient of Principal Trophy for scoring A’s in biology, chemistry, English Language, mathematics, physics, computer science and Islamic religious knowledge.
She then gave a speech on behalf of the students thanking the teachers for their sacrifices.
Former student Liaw Lin Ji was the guest of honour who also presented the prizes.
The event concluded with a recitation of Doa Selamat.
