The Health Services Department celebrated after winning the Minister of Health Futsal Cup final match against Nursing Services Department, at the Dewan Gerak Badan of the Bolkiah Garrison, yesterday.
Medical Services Department finished third. Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar presented the prizes.
After the final match, a friendly game was held between the Minister of Health futsal team and the Permanent Secretary team, ending the normal time in a 2-2 draw. Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham scored the first penalty to help his team win the shootout 2-1.
Twelve teams competed in the Minister of Health Futsal Cup.
Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health (MoH) Haji Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin and Deputy Permanent Secretary (Professional) at the MoH Dr Ang Swee Hui, senior officers from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and senior teachers from Sports School also attended the event.
