Hats off to 95 students

PENGIRAN Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar Secondary School (SMPJNPHAB), Kuala Belait held a Graduation and Academic Award ceremony for 95 of its high-scoring students from the Class of 2018 last Saturday.

The ceremony was held at the school’s multi-purpose hall.

Chief Executive Officer of the Serikandi Group of Companies Shaikh Haji Khalid bin Shaikh Haji Ahmad, welcomed by school’s Principal Chin Ai Fong, was the guest of honour.

Chairman of the school’s Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Iskandar bin Haji Alias; Deputy Principal (Academic) Gudaihenah Yadai; Deputy Principal (Administration) Jumimah binti Haji Jumat; higher committee members of the school’s PTA; teachers, parents and guardians; as well as the students were present.

The event aimed at acknowledging Class of 2018 who had scored five ‘O’ Levels and above.

The guest of honour presents an award to a top performing student in the SPA 2018

The school’s principal congratulated the Class of 2018 for their achievements and presentated certificates and trophies to the students.

Top three best performing students in the Student Progress Assessment (SPA) 2018 also received awards from the guest of honour.

A series of awards were also given to teachers who supported students into achieving high grades in their examinations.

The event concluded with the singing of the school song by the Class of 2018.
