Hari Raya Aidilfitri festivities continue

AS THE month of Syawal enters its final few days of celebration, Hengyi Industries hosted a Majlis Silaturrahim at the Tarindak D’Seni in the capital to celebrate the festive Hari Raya season.

The gathering served as an opportunity for Hengyi Industries to celebrate the last few days of Syawal with business partners, stakeholders, clients, colleagues, and friends, as well as to strengthen its close ties among the members of the community.

On hand to welcome and greet guests were CEO of Hengyi Industries Sdn Bhd Chen Lian Cai along with the company’s senior management and key members. VIP guests included several Cabinet Ministers and senior government officials.

Among those present were Minister of Home Affairs Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, Minister of Development Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar, Deputy Minister of Energy, Manpower and Industry Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Matsatejo bin Sokiaw and Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy Dr Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin.

Guests were treated to a wide variety of delectable Malay cuisine, which also provided a platform to express gratitude and appreciation to those who contributed to the success and continuous progress of Hengyi Industries.

Royal Brunei Airlines (RB)

OVER 900 guests attended the Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) Aidilfitri celebration at Peak Performance Sdn Bhd in Berakas yesterday in the spirit of celebrating the month-long festive season.

On hand to greet guests was RB Chief Executive Officer Karam Chand along with RB management and staff.

Among those in attendance were government officials, representatives from embassies and business partners.

The celebration aimed to foster and strengthen relationship between both parties, where guests were entertained with melodious Raya music and a wide variety of dishes.

FOLLOWING the success of their previous Hari Raya open office celebration in the Brunei-Muara District earlier at the start of this year’s Hari Raya Aidilfitri, DST continued the celebration in the Belait District at the Grand Ballroom of V-Plaza Hotel, Kuala Belait yesterday.

The event is held annually by DST to further strengthen the relationship between them and their government and corporate associates across the country.

The event in the Belait District saw the presence of Acting Chief Executive Officer of DST Radin Sufri bin Radin Basiuni, Assistant General Manager of Customer Services at DST Datin Hajah Umikaltum binti Haji Mat Daud and DST officers and staff members who welcomed over 400 attendees comprising government and corporate associates from the Belait and Tutong districts.

In addition to a range of appetisers, main courses, and dessert, DST officials also took the opportunity to mingle with corporate clients in the spirit of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

As a sign of gratitude for the government and corporate associates in the Belait and Tutong districts in attendance, attendees were given a special memento by DST staff members.
