With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, it was announced that the Sultanate will observe the first day of Zulhijjah 1442 Hijrah on Monday. Following this, the nation will mark Hari Raya Aidiladha on 10th of Zulhijjah 1442 Hijrah corresponding to July 21. Muslims in the country will perform Sunnat Hari Raya Aidiladha prayer, lauding Takbir and perform Korban starting on the 10th of Zulhijjah until 11, 12 and 13 of the Tasyrik dates.
