Haji Puspa appointed head coach of SCB women’s futsal team

HAJI Puspa bin Haji Mohammad, a well-respected futsal coach in Brunei Darussalam, has been appointed as the head coach of the Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) Brunei women’s futsal team.

His official appointment letter has been presented by the Manager of the SCB Brunei futsal women’s team, Suryana binti Haji Emran during the team’s training ahead of the Standard Chartered Games 2018 which has been scheduled at the end of September in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Haji Puspa possesses a futsal coaching license that received recognition from various futsal and football governing bodies such as Asociacion Mundial de Futsal (AMF), Asian Football Confederation (AFC), FIFA and Gol Brasil.

He is a full-time futsal coach who is constantly active in training modern futsal to the targeted group which is at the grassroots level (under 12 years) and teenagers (under 16 years) in his efforts towards introducing futsal for all age groups in the country.

His academy, Puspa United Academy (PUA) is active in conducting futsal training programme for under 12 and 16-year olds under the sports programme of Royal Brunei Recreation Club (RBRC) every Friday and Sunday from 5pm to 6:30pm at the RBRC Futsal Field.
