Parents and guardians must ensure their children adhere to the guidelines issued by the Mosque Affairs Department under the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) for the recommencement of weekly Al-Quran and Muqaddam classes on August 7.
The guidelines require students to perform their ablutions at home prior to attending classes from 8am to 10am. Parents and guardians are advised to drop off and fetch their children at the mosque entrance.
Body temperature checks will be conducted and students must record their attendance. They are required to wear face masks and practise cleanliness by washing their hands regularly with soap or using hand sanitiser.
They should avoid handshakes and leave the premises immediately once class over.
Meanwhile, teachers must be present before 8am to monitor student attendance. They are also encouraged to perform their ablutions at home, undergo temperature checks, wear face masks, wash their hands regularly with soap or hand sanitiser, avoid handshakes, and leave immediately after class.
