THE best Thai delicacies and dishes available in the country have been put together and featured in the Guidebook of Thai Restaurants in Brunei Darussalam
The Royal Thai Embassy in Brunei Darussalam will organise a launching ceremony for the guidebook at the embassy’s chancery at No 15, Simpang 42, Jalan Elia Fatimah in Kampong Kiarong, at noon on July 3.
Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will attend the event alongside high-ranking government officials, members of the Diplomatic Corps and other guests.
The Guidebook of Thai Restaurants in Brunei Darussalam is one of the projects organised by the embassy in celebration of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Brunei. The guidebook features 13 selected Thai restaurants and their signature dishes such as Tom Yum Kung, Pad Thai and Som Tum, which guests will have the opportunity to sample during the event.
It is hoped the guidebook will help promote Thailand-Brunei relations through food diplomacy as well as recognition for quality Thai restaurants in Brunei Darussalam, particularly in supporting Thai chefs working here.
