THE Meraih Barkah Group (KMB) continued its series of welfare activities with the presentation of school materials to 20 underprivileged secondary students yesterday.
KMB members led by Hajah Florinda binti Haji Mejenis, first headed to the Rimba Secondary School to present the educational contribution to 10 underprivileged students.
They then headed to Rimba II Secondary School in Jalan 99 and presented to another 10 students.
Prior to the presentation, the event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by one of the receiving students followed with words of appreciation by Principal of Rimba II Secondary School Hajah Siti Khadijah binti Haji Damit.
She applauded the move made by KMB in their concern towards underprivileged students and hoped that such noble move will gain reward and blessings from Allah the Almighty.
Hajah Florinda meanwhile expressed gratitude of the group for being able to do their part in reaching out to the community particularly the underprivileged.
She also delivered words of advice and encouragement to the students and reminded them on their religious obligations as well as their focus on giving their best in their studies.
The educational materials are contributed by anonymous individuals handed over as Waqaf to KMB for distribution to underprivileged students and has been carried out since 2014.
