Good showing in global competition

Brunei’s Malayali Association members who participated in a global online talent fest organised by World Malayalee Council won several prizes.

In the junior category, Archana Anil claimed the top spot in painting while Mahathi Venkatesh Babu came in third place in English elocution.

In the senior category, Ananya Revi was first runner-up in street photography while Arjun Revi was placed third in the iconic structure photography. They also received special mention for photos showcasing the colours of nature.

In the youth category, Nandini Rakesh won first prize in cinematic dance.

In the veteran category, Renu Mullapilly Nair was first runner-up in classical dance.

About 9,500 people from 70 countries took part in the competitionincluding 23 talents from Brunei in 31 categories.
