BRUNEIAN companies are encouraged to participate and showcase their exportable products at the 15th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) in Nanning, China from September 12-15.

The expo will be an ideal opportunity for the Sultanate’s firms to partner with prospective buyers and create potential business opportunities in China.

Meanwhile, the 15th CAEXPO Agricultural Expo will be held in parallel with the grand expo and gather companies from 10 ASEAN member countries and China. At the expo, high-quality agricultural products including animal husbandry and fishery products, fruits, green agricultural products and food products with ASEAN characteristics will be showcased.

Since last year, the agricultural e-commerce platform has become the key feature of the expo, where it will continue making the e-commerce exhibition area available to further promote communication between online and offline enterprises.

The ASEAN Coffee Exhibition will be the highlight of the expo where exhibitors can not only taste the rich coffee from Southeast Asia, but also find a lot of business opportunities.

The expo expects to set up around 500 booths, with famous exhibitors including Zoneco, Guangxi Foodstuff Development Co Ltd, Wuzhou Maosheng Liu Bao Tea and many more.

Since 2016, CAEXPO’s main venue, the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center, has set up a professional platform named ‘China-ASEAN International Cooperation on Agriculture’ intended to make available the outcomes from China-ASEAN cooperation on agriculture and promote cooperation with respect to external investments in the agriculture field.

The 15th CAEXPO China-ASEAN International Cooperation on Agriculture is themed ‘Vitalisation of Rural Areas by Mountains and Rivers’.

There will be three exclusive zones for project roadshow, investment promotion and new product and new industry exhibition. They will mainly display, among others, the agricultural investment and cooperation projects of China and ASEAN, village-specific products and industries.

For the first time, CAEXPO has set up an outreached area for ASEAN member countries and other countries along the Belt and Road project to showcase their famous and excellent enterprises.

At the expo, a series of professional forums and activities will be organised to provide more information and create more business opportunities for the participants such as the China-ASEAN Agricultural Capital Industry Summit, the third China-ASEAN Agricultural Cooperation Forum (ministerial level), and the Belt and Road Agricultural Investment

Cooperation Forum, as well as agricultural project matchmaking.

This year is of great significance since it marks the 15th anniversary of the establishment of China-ASEAN strategic partnership, the China-ASEAN innovation year and the 15th anniversary of the CAEXPO.
