Those who praise Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) through the recitation of Selawat will receive highly exalted positions and ranks in the hereafter, said Imams during the Friday sermon.
“We hope that by reciting Selawat, we would receive assistance in the hereafter,” said Imams.
Muslims express love towards Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), the messenger of Allah the Almighty, by obeying all his commands and abide by his prohibitions. “We should also emulate the characteristics of the Prophet (pbuh), abiding firmly to Al-Quran teachings and Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh).” Imams said the birth of the Prophet (pbuh) enlightens and brings blessings to the universe.
“More than 1,400 years ago, Allah the Almighty sent Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to spread Islamic teachings to bring mankind towards success,” said Imams.
The Prophet (pbuh) succeeded in spreading the teachings of Islam, and it is able to stand strong till today, said Imams.
“The Prophet (pbuh) is able to build comprehensive and perfect life structure for success, and is placed by Allah the Almighty to a special and high position among Muslims.”
