The Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA), through its Muslimah Affairs Division and with assistance of District Mosque Affairs Office and Muslimah Guidance Class, held a donation programme in the Temburong District yesterday.
The programme aimed to help single mothers and the underprivileged with financial aid and basic goods. The programme also sought to involve muslimah in the development of mosque through the practice of endowment, especially for mosques located in remote areas.
The programme went to Kampong Sibut Religious Hall and Kampong Selangan Mosque.
Participating in the programme were wife of the Minister of Religious Affairs Datin Hajah Nahriah binti Haji Awang Asbi, wife of the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Datin Hajah Norazimah binti Haji Ramlee and wife of the Permanent Secretary at the MoRA Siti Norishan binti Haji Abdul Ghafor.
