Brunei Gas Carriers Sdn Bhd (BGC) launched its ‘25 Seeds of Gratitude’ programme at McDonald’s Jerudong yesterday where the BGC Managing Director Captain Abdul Mateen bin Abdurrahman Liew @ Martin emphasised that social investment continues to play a major role at BGC.
He added that giving back to the community is an ongoing goal to further enhance BGC’s commitment to the Sultanate.
The programme’s theme ‘25 Seeds of Gratitude’ will see a series of events dedicated to marking BGC’s silver jubilee on March 9.
It is part of BGC’s social investment initiatives and shared among the departments and seafarers, focussing on activities that build values in terms of demonstrating commitment to economic and social development.
Every department at BGC will organise activities centred on promoting selfless acts through collaborations with the wider community to foster closer ties with one another especially in the area of education, welfare, and social development.
The launching was followed by an arts and crafts activity with the Children’s Cancer Foundation (YASKA) including painting, crafting, and colouring, participated by 15 children.
BGC management team and YASKA representatives also participated in the event.
