The Girl Guides Association of Brunei Darussalam (PPPBD) handed donations to 15 underprivileged families registered under the Community Development Department (JAPEM) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports during a ceremony at the association’s headquarters in Kampong Anggerek Desa.
PPPBD Chief Commissioner Norazrina binti Haji Sarbini presented the donations.
The donations comprised basic food essentials such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, milk and canned fruits contributed by the association’s members.
The project aimed to share blessings with the less fortunate in glorifying Ramadhan while encouraging members to engage in community service. – Rokiah Mahmud
