The Ministry of Education, through the Department of Examination, has issued the Brunei Cambridge GCE ‘AS’ and ‘A’ Level October/November 2020 results yesterday.
Out of 1,608 candidates who sat for the ‘A’ Level examination, 1,211 candidates achieved at least three ‘A’ or 75.31 per cent, an increase of 4.74 per cent from last year.
The percentage of candidates receiving at least two ‘A’ Levels is 89.05 per cent, an increase of 3.35 per cent and the percentage of candidates receiving one ‘A’ level is 95.71 per cent, an increase of 1.45 per cent.
Meanwhile, out of 795 candidates who sat for the ‘AS’ Level examination, 543 candidates obtained at least two ‘AS’ Levels, which is 68.3 per cent and an increase of 5.2 per cent.
Some 784 or 98.62 per cent achieved at least one ‘AS’ Level, an increase of 6.9 per cent from October/November 2019 results.
Candidates who wish to improve their results may register for the May/June 2021 examination which will close for private candidates on February 16, said the agency.
