    Further easing of COVID measures

    The operating hours at land control posts will be extended to 10pm starting December 1.

    This was said by Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof during the weekly COVID-19 press conference yesterday. These include land control posts at Sungai Tujoh, Labu, Ujong Jalan and Kuala Lurah, while the sea control posts at Serasa Ferry Terminal, Serasa Vehicle Ferry, Muara Port and Kuala Belait Wharf will continue to operate from 6am to 8pm.

    The minister said starting December 1, food distribution for COVID-19 cases will be discontinued. However, the Government of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam through the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports will continue to assist the needy.
