A TOTAL of 28 women gathered at the Panaga Club in Kuala Belait yesterday, to share their personal life stories in celebration of International Women’s Day.
Led by Celyn Lim of the Friends United Network (FUN), the event featured Evelyn Tan Bee Ping and Jiao Foster, who each shared their attempts at balancing family relationships, in keeping with this year’s theme of ‘Balance for Better’.
As a non-revenue set-up organised by volunteers from the Panaga community, FUN consists of several multi-racial members from all over the world, including several Bruneians.
The club regularly organises events that enable the members to expand their social network and understand the different cultures in the surrounding community.
