Fresh faces for Youth Da’ie Committee

A dissolution and new appointments of Youth Da’ie Committee (Belia Da’ie) for session 2019/2021 was held at the Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) in Kampong Pulaie recently.

Director of PDI Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh was the guest of honour.

The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by the Assistant Chairman of Youth Da’ie for 2019/2021 session followed with a speech by the guest of honour.

The event continued with a speech by former chairman of Youth Da’ie 2017/2019 session Ahmad Rashidi bin Haji Asnawi and the handover of Youth Da’ie files to the newly appointed Chairman for 2019/2021 session, Mohammad Fikri Fathuddin bin Assokan.

The ceremony also witnessed the dissolution of the committee members for 2017/2019 session with the presentation of certificates of appreciation by the guest of honour.

He also presented certificates of appointment to the newly appointed members for 2019/2021 session.

A motivational course titled ‘Why am I here’ delivered by Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) lecturer Dr Hajah Ummi Faizah binti Haji Abdul Rahman was also held in conjunction with the Youth Da’ie Orientation Week.

Among the course’s objective was to promote integration among the committee members with the concept of 3S – is Saling Mengenali, Saling Menolong and Saling Memahami (to Know Each Other, to Help Each Other and to Understand Each Other).

The course also served as a motivational boost in carrying out the committee members’ Dakwah duties to be more efficient and dynamic, and to mould a Da’ie that is excellent in leadership, with high potential and well-disciplined.
