In its monthly commitment to the public, the Law Society of Brunei Darussalam will conduct its free Legal Advice Clinic relating to civil and criminal matters at the Law and Subordinate Courts building on Jalan Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha, Batu Satu from 9am to noon on September 24.
The clinic aims to provide free legal advice to the public unable to obtain such service due to limited income.
Consultation will be provided on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Conditions include that the public must not be represented by any law firm, must provide a copy of Brunei-issued identity card and proof of current residential address, and has an income or allowance of less than BND1,500 per month.
