The Law Society of Brunei Darussalam is set to organise a free legal advice clinic on civil and criminal matters at the Law and Subordinate Courts Building in Jalan Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha, Batu Satu and in the Kuala Belait Subordinate Courts Building on September 28 from 10am to noon.
The clinic aims to provide free legal advice to members of the public who cannot afford such services. Consultation will be provided on a first-come-first-served basis.
To obtain the free service, participants must not be represented by any law firm, provide a copy of Brunei-issued identity card and proof of current residential address and have a monthly income or allowance of less than BND1,500. – Fadley Faisal
