FPAB holds financial planning, association gets new council members

The Financial Planning Association of Brunei Darussalam (FPAB) held its fourth annual general meeting (AGM) to mark the dissolution of its council members for the 2019/2021 session and the appointment of new council members for the 2021/2023 session recently.

The meeting conducted online via Zoom was attended by FPAB members.

Outgoing president Hajah Raeidyah binti Haji Bujang, who will be resigning from her post after serving four terms, welcomed the appointment of new president Haji Shamsul bin Haji Muhamad, who was the former vice president of 2019/2021.

Meanwhile, Calvin Kong Lin Kae was appointed vice president, Rithwan bin Haji Ahmad as secretary and Chan Leang Seng as treasurer.

Chairperson Hajah Raeidyah expressed hope that the new council members will help the association achieve its objective in supporting the nation’s efforts to create a financially literate society.
