Four Khalifa MMA kids win medals in KL meet

Four young athletes from Khalifa Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) bagged medals in the 1st Malaysia International Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ) Competition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia recently.

Nadine secured a bronze medal in the Yellow Belt Teen III (15 years) division.

Eva bagged a silver medal in the Yellow Belt Teen II (14 years) division while Noble won silver in the Grey Belt Junior (11 years) division.

Mahdiya captured a bronze medal in the White Belt Peewee (eight years) division.

Led by BJJ Kids Head Coach Zaim Zairi, the small team performed exceptionally well.

The quartet stepped on the mats with courage, listened to their coach and gave it their best.

Their participation in the inaugural competition also earned praise from the organisers as well as the BJJ community in the Asean region.

Khalifa Mixed Martial Arts expressed their gratitude to the parents who have been supporting their children since day one.
