Four firefighters under Operation ‘F’ Branch of the Fire and Rescue Department (FRD) were promoted to First Class in a ceremony recently, receiving their rank insignia from Commanding Officer SFR Haji Nordin bin Haji Buntan.
The four were Firefighter 314 Mohd Roslani Azmie bin Mohd Khairey Sham, Firefighter 784 Mohd Zainuddin bin Haji Hamdan, Firefighter 753 Haji Hairol Hazrin bin Haji Abdul Kahar and Firefighter 823 Pengiran Muhammad Aiman bin Pengiran Azhari.
The ceremony also saw the recitation of Doa Selamat for two intending pilgrims – Station Commander of Pengkalan Batu Fire Station Acting ASFR Haji Saman bin Haji Saidin and Chef Ruhil Alina binti Haji Sanny.
The FRD congratulated the promoted firefighters and expressed hopes the recognition would motivate them and further increase commitment, productivity and quality of work, in tandem with the mission and vision of the department.
