Brunei Darussalam currently has no COVID-19 cases in Category 5 receiving treatment at the intensive care unit while four are in Category 4 requiring respiratory assistance and under close monitoring.
No COVID-related deaths were recorded in the past 24 hours. These details were disclosed by the Ministry of Health in its daily report.
Some 287 cases were declared recovered yesterday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 228,835.
Meanwhile, 85.9 per cent of children aged five to 11 have received at least two doses of the vaccine while 61.6 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been given the third shot.
Some 78.5 per cent of the population have received at least three doses of the vaccine while 10.6 per cent of the populace administered the fourth shot.
