Some 50 workforce of the Ministry of Development attended a Dikir Maulud ceremony at the Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Sungai Akar on Sunday, in conjunction with Maulidur Rasul celebration for 1446 Hijrah.
The ceremony began with a mass Maghrib prayer, followed with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Dikir Syarafil Anam. It proceeded with a mass Isyak prayer and the recitation of Dikir Qiam, and concluded with imam Muhammad Helmy bin Haji Jamil reciting Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
Minister of Development Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid led the delegation.
The delegation will continue the Dikir Maulud ceremony to Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah on Thursday. – Lyna Mohamad
Istana Nurul Iman
A Dikir Maulud ceremony was held at Istana Nurul Iman on Sunday in conjunction with Maulidur Rasul celebration for 1446 Hijrah.
The ceremony commenced with a mass Isyak prayer and the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Al-Quran verses.
Assistant religious development officer Salihin bin Haji Samra delivered a tazkirah on ‘Gaya Ketawa Rasulullah (pbuh)’.
It also saw the lauding of Dikir Syarafil Anam beginning from Dikir Assalamualaika, Khairuman, Bisyahrin, Al-Hamdu, Badat, Asyraqal and Selawat Tafrijiyyah, followed by the recitation of Doa Dikir and Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam. The ceremony will be held every night to enliven the commemoration.
Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman and Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan were present. – Rokiah Mahmud
Ministry of Home Affairs
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) held a Dikir Maulud ceremony at the Kampong Lubok Pulau Mosque in the Tutong District on Saturday, in conjunction with Maulidur Rasul celebration for 1446 Hijrah and to encourage its workforce to continue praising Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Haji Amir Azman bin Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Setia Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Rahman attended as the representative of Permanent Secretary (Safety and Welfare) at the MoHA.
Legislative Council members, mukim penghulus and village heads, heads of departments, senior officers, officers and staff at the ministry as well as mosque takmir committee members, were also present. – Lyna Mohamad
Muslimah Affairs Division, Mosque Affairs Department
An Ihya Maulidur Rasul ceremony for the Tutong District Mosque’s Muslim guidance class was held at the Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam Mosque in Kampong Sengkarai yesterday.
The event was jointly organised by the Muslimah Affairs Division of the Mosque Affairs Department with the Muslimah guidance class, as well as the mosque’s takmir committee.
The event aimed to express love for Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) through blessings and remembrance, as well as to promote the culture of Dikir among Muslim women to strengthen ties.
Spouse of the Minister of Religious Affairs Datin Hajah Nahriah binti Haji Awang Asbi was the guest of honour. – Azlan Othman
