The Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI), Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) through the Muallaf Development Division (Muallaf Empowerment) organised a Dikir Maulud event at Kampong Bebuloh’s religious hall to enhance religious appreciation and love for Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) among Muslim converts in the country.
Ninety participants comprising Muslim converts and Kampong Bebuloh residents, along with the PDI delegation led by PDI Director Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh were present. The ceremony commenced with a mass Maghrib prayer led by bilal of Kampong Bebuloh religious hall Saiful bin Haji Sofian, followed by the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah.
Religious development officer Siti Syuhaidah binti Haji Mohd Yusoff delivered a tazkirah on ‘Tanda Kasihku Buatmu Ya Rasulullah’.
It also saw the recitation of Dikir Syarafil Anam and Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam recited by the bilal, concluding with bilal Md Izzul Islam bin Abdullah leading a mass Isyak prayer. – Rokiah Mahmud
