A religious forum on sacrificial rites will be aired on Radio Television Brunei (RTB) in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha. The recording was held at the State Mufti’s Office yesterday.
The forum covering various topics and issues saw over 100 participants from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Ministry of Finance and Economy as well as Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah and Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Religious Directorate (JAMA’AT).
State Mufti Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned was the guest of honour.
Deputy State Mufti Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Japar bin Haji Mat Dain @ Maidin; Assistant State Mufti (Buhuth) Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mazanan bin Haji Yusof; and Assistant State Mufti (Ifta) Haji Abdul Rahman bin Pengarah Haji Mokti were also present.
Panellists at the forum were Acting Head of Istinbat at the State Mufti’s Office Haji Mohamad Raimi bin Tengah and Acting Assistant Head of Buhuth Pengiran Zamiri bin Pengiran Haji Jamaluddin with Istinbat Officer at the State Mufti‘s Office Haji Jakaria bin Haji Itam @ Hitam as the moderator.
