The Mawar Association organised a sharing session titled ‘Tabarujj in dressing up’ at Rimba Secondary School recently.

Dakwah speaker, Tabligh Enforcer and Head of the Dakwah Dissemination Centre at the Islamic Da’wah Centre Pengiran Norhayati binti Pengiran Haji Kasharan and an accredited speaker from the Brunei Islamic Religious Council (MUIB) Siti Hurul-Ain Diyana binti Haji Abdul Majid presented at the event. Hajah Rozailah binti Haji Abdul Rahman from the Mawar Association chaired the forum.

The talk was held to raise awareness, particularly among young female participants, on the concepts of dressing from an Islamic perspective, such as the ethics of wearing perfume, modest clothes and make-up.

Participants were also reminded on prudent spending, before a question-and-answer session was held.

Mawar Association Advisor Hajah Nur Afifah binti Haji Matassim and Mawar Association members also attended.
