Equipped with a twin-turbo 3.0-litre Eco-Boost V6 engine that delivers 288 PS and 491 Nm of torque for phenomenal on- and off-road ability, Premier Automobile Sdn Bhd (PASB) introduced the 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor during a media test drive on Tuesday.
Getting behind the wheels Raptor, the test drive covers on-road and off-road to give participants a feel of the pick-up performance in different road conditions, fiddling with the available features on the car.
Marketing Manager Mark Paren accompanied the media members throughout the drive while giving them more insights on the functions of the various features as well as the add-ons fitted into the 2023 Raptor. The Raptor proved its capability on the off-road site at the popular Bukit Sipatir Recreational Park where participants took advantage to tryout several driving modes.
Among the highlights is the class-exclusive electronically-controlled active exhaust system delivers adjustable engine sounds with four exhaust modes to suit different driving scenarios.
Also features seven selectable drive modes and re-engineered suspension featuring Ford Performance-developed FOX 2.5-inch Live Valve internal bypass shock absorbers while the advanced new full-time four-wheel drive system includes electronically controlled on-demand two-speed transfer case and locking front and rear differentials. The Ford Ranger Raptor is now available for viewing at the PASB showroom in Beribi.
