The Kampong Mulaut Village Consultative Council will organise a Flower Competition on March 28 in conjunction with the sixth anniversary of the establishment of the village’s monthly market.

The market was initiated on January 5, 2015 at Kampong Mulaut Hua Ho Department Store.

The contest is open to all residents from Kampong Mulaut and nearby villages, especially regular market-goers in three categories: the keladi flowers, the daun flowers and the
nenas flowers.

The public can obtain the entry forms by contacting Organising Committee Secretary Supian bin Haji Azahari, with the closing date of submission on March 27 at 4pm.

Organising Committee Chairman Haji Ismail bin Haji Yusof said the competition is organised in keeping with the villagers’ rising interests in growing flowers particularly keladi.

The anniversary celebration will begin on March 26 with a Doa Selamat and a colouring competition for children below 12 years as well as games and fun activities.

Acting Village Head and Chairman of Kampong Mulaut Village Consultative Council Haji Maramit bin Haji Saban will attend as the guest of honour.
