Over 500 people attended a food festival and painting exhibition at Indian Association of Belait (IAB) Hall in Seria on Sunday.
The event, organised by the IAB, aimed to support the charitable activities of the association by supporting local charities and contributing to those in need in the Belait District, through donations to orphans during Ramadhan.
Members of the Indian community opened food stalls with an assortment of delicacies from all parts of India including popular street foods such as panipuri and pav bhaji and a variety of dosa.
Meanwhile, the exhibition showcased artworks by women and children from the community that were also available for sale.
Indian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Alok Amitabh Dimri was the guest of honour.
