The Immigration and National Registration Department (INRD) held a futsal tournament and fun sport events in conjunction with the department’s 65th anniversary.
The event, at the Multipurpose Hall of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium Complex, Berakas, saw five teams compete.
It was officiated by INRD Deputy Director Haji Hairone bin Haji Abdul Rahman. INRD Acting Director Haji Azmi bin Haji Abdul Rahim was the guest of honour. The event, held for the first time of its kind, also featured a futsal friendly match between Executive and Committee Members against INRD’s retirees and a netball friendly match between the INRD’s officers and staff. – Rokiah Mahmud
