McDonald’s Brunei and the Brunei Darussalam Red Crescent Society (BRC) are working together to reach out and provide emergency assistance to 13 mosques and one religious centre in the Temburong District as part of their First Aider@ Masjid project.

A total of 84 certified emergency first aiders will provide assistance and essential emergency training to mosque youth in the Temburong District.

The training, slated to begin next month, will include basic first aid and basic life saving skills.

The project is aimed at ensuring that mosques and religious centres are a safe environment for all and is equipped to handle any situation.

“This is our first project with BRC and we hope to work with other societies in the future. We are setting our sight in the Temburong District and will definitely reach out to other districts as well,” said Marketing Lead of McDonald’s Brunei Noor Hafilah binti Haji Mohd Salleh.

The collaborative project is part of McDonald’s Brunei’s goal to foster the community. “Our goal is not just about feeding the community but also to nurture the community as well,” she added.
