Sixteen firefighters from Lambak Kanan Fire Station with support from Rimba Fire Station responded to a shop fire in Kampong Lambak recently.
The firefighters, led by DSO Pengiran Suhaili bin Pengiran Sapiuddin, arrived to find a fire in a convenience store. The fire was put out within 10 minutes.
No injuries were reported and the cause and damages are still under investigation.
The FRD reminded the public to equip their home and properties with fire extinguishers and fire blankets as well as switch off electrical appliances when not in use, adding that electrical wiring should be done by companies accredited by the Department of Electrical Services.
